Community Guidelines
Effective date: October 27, 2026
Whiskrs is a professional space for verified adults to find and organise lawful collaborations. These Guidelines explain what that means in practice. They apply everywhere on the Service: profiles, portfolios, gig posts, applications, intros, chat, media, captions and reviews, and to off-platform behaviour that started on Whiskrs or affects members’ safety.
The five basics
- Adults only. Everyone is a verified adult. No exceptions.
- Consent first. Every interaction is opt-in, and anyone can say no, at any time, without a reason.
- Keep it SFW. No nudity or sexually explicit content on the Service.
- Collabs, not services. Whiskrs is for professional collaborations, never for buying or selling sexual services, and not for dating.
- Be professional. Respect, honesty and clear communication, always.
1. Adults only (18+)
- You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) and verified to use Whiskrs.
- Never post, share, request or discuss content that sexualises minors, or that depicts anyone who appears to be under 18 in a sexualised way, including drawings, AI-generated or “role-play” content.
- Never bring a minor to, or involve a minor in, any collab arranged through Whiskrs.
- We report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation material to the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (Cybertip.ca) and police as required by law, and permanently ban the accounts involved.
2. Consent and boundaries
- Meows, intros and matches are not consent to anything. They mean “interested in discussing work”, nothing more.
- Talent Members can decline any intro, and anyone can decline any collab, change their mind, or end a conversation. Accept a “no” the first time.
- Discuss scope, boundaries, pay, schedule, location, who will be present, and how content will be used before any collab, in writing. Use the in-app collab template.
- Consent can be withdrawn before or during a collab. Never pressure, guilt-trip or threaten someone to continue or to do more than agreed.
- Never record, photograph or share anyone without their clear, informed consent to that specific use.
- Every person who appears in any media you upload must be a verified adult who approved the upload, or must have given you documented written consent.
Boundaries & rates
- Talent Members may list boundaries (Yes / No / Message me to ask for neutral categories of work) and booking rates on their profile. Both are optional, can be changed or removed at any time, and are shown only to signed-in, ID-verified Producer Members who can see the profile. They are never shown to other Talent Members, on public pages, in link previews, notifications or emails.
- A “Yes” is not consent to a specific shoot. Consent is ongoing: it is given for each booking, in writing, and can be withdrawn at any time, including on set. Updating boundaries never commits anyone to past or future work.
- Producers must check the fit before sending an intro or accepting an applicant. Whiskrs asks you to confirm the production fits; it will not let you send an offer that includes something the Talent has marked “No”. An “Message me to ask” item must be discussed and agreed in writing first.
- Never pressure, negotiate against, or try to talk anyone out of a boundary, ask them to “make an exception”, or offer more money for something they have said no to. Treat a boundary change on set as a “no” until it is discussed and agreed off camera, without pressure.
- Rates are booking rates for professional filming and content work (time, deliverables, usage and licensing). They are never a price for a sexual act or service, and must not be described that way (see section 3).
- Hard limits are shown to a Producer only once a chat is open, and must not contain contact details or links.
3. Collabs, not sexual services
Whiskrs is for lawful professional work such as photography, modelling, creator collaborations, styling, makeup, editing, crew and business partnerships.
Not allowed, in any wording, including coded language, emojis or “hints”:
- offering, advertising, requesting or arranging sexual services in exchange for money, gifts, travel, accommodation or anything of value;
- escorting, “companionship”, “GFE”, “private sessions”, “sugar” arrangements, “meetups”, massage with extras, or similar;
- rate lists or menus for sexual acts;
- using gigs, intros or chat to steer someone toward such an arrangement off the Service.
We remove this content and permanently ban the accounts involved. Producers who post gigs that disguise such offers are banned, and reports may be shared with police.
4. Keep it SFW
Not allowed anywhere on the Service, including chat and “chat-only” media:
- nudity (including exposed genitals, buttocks or female-presenting nipples), see-through clothing intended to reveal these, or sexual acts;
- sexually explicit or graphic sexual language, descriptions or captions;
- links that lead directly to explicit content (links to subscription platforms may point only to the platform’s safe-for-work landing page);
- “teaser” content designed to get around these rules.
Professional fashion, swimwear, fitness or lingerie-style imagery is allowed only if it is non-explicit and non-suggestive, and follows the detailed rules in the Acceptable Use & Content Policy. When in doubt, leave it out.
5. Respect and safety
Not allowed:
- Harassment: insults, unwanted sexual comments, repeated contact after someone says no, blocks or mutes you, pile-ons, or creating new profiles to get around a block.
- Threats or violence: threatening, encouraging or glorifying violence or self-harm.
- Hate: attacks or slurs based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age or other protected grounds.
- Doxing and outing: sharing or threatening to share someone’s legal name, address, workplace, family details, other profiles, or the fact that they work in adult industries.
- Non-consensual intimate images: sharing or threatening to share intimate images of anyone without consent is illegal (Criminal Code s. 162.1) and results in an immediate ban and possible report to police.
- Sextortion and blackmail of any kind.
- Trafficking and exploitation: controlling someone else’s account, messages, documents or earnings; “managers” speaking for Talent; recruiting people under false pretences; withholding ID or travel documents; debt bondage.
6. Be who you say you are
- Use your own verified identity. One person, one account (with up to one Talent and one Producer profile).
- Do not impersonate any person, studio, brand or agency, or claim credits, affiliations or reviews you do not have.
- Do not use someone else’s photos, or AI-generated photos presented as yourself.
- Do not try to identify, link or expose the second profile of another member.
- Do not buy, sell, share or transfer accounts.
7. Gig posts
Gig posts must:
- describe lawful professional work with a clear role, location (city), date or date range, pay or rate (CAD), and an SFW description of scope;
- be posted by the Producer who will actually run the project, or by an authorised representative of the business;
- not include contact details, external payment links or requests to move off the Service before an applicant is accepted;
- not ask applicants for intimate images, ID documents or deposits;
- not discriminate on protected grounds except as genuinely required by the role and permitted by law.
8. Payments: no off-platform pressure
- Never ask anyone to pay you to get work (for example “registration fees”, “test shoot fees”, “portfolio fees”). Real Producers do not charge Talent to apply.
- Do not pressure anyone to pay, or be paid, off the Service to avoid fees, verification or our safety tools, and do not send payment links in intros, applications or gig posts.
- Once collab payments are available, use them where offered: they protect both sides with funds held by our payment partner and smart deposits.
- Never ask for gift cards, crypto transfers, or someone’s banking login.
- Report anyone who asks for money in a suspicious way.
9. Reviews
- Review only real collabs you took part in. Be honest, specific and professional.
- No retaliation, threats, bribes, fake or swapped reviews, or reviews offered in exchange for anything.
- No personal information, contact details, links or sexual content in reviews.
10. Reporting
Use the … menu on any profile, gig, message, review or media item to Report, Block or Mute. Choose Safety concern for anything involving a minor, threats, coercion, trafficking or immediate risk; these go to the front of the queue. You can also email safety@whiskrs.app. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.
Reports are confidential: we do not tell the reported member who reported them. Making knowingly false reports is itself a violation.
Temporary restriction during an urgent review
When a verified member in good standing reports someone for one of the three urgent reasons (someone may be under 18, intimate or private material shared without consent, or threats or violence), we may automatically put the reported account into a temporary “under review” state straight away, before a moderator has looked at it. This is a precaution, not a finding that anyone broke the rules.
While an account is under review:
- its profiles are hidden from Discover, search, gigs and other members’ chats;
- it cannot send Meows, intros or messages, upload photos, post gigs or apply to them;
- its member can still read their existing chats (read-only), change settings, block or report someone, and download their data;
- its member sees a neutral “Your account is under review” notice. We never say who reported them or why.
To stop this being misused, only reports from verified members whose accounts are in good standing count, one member can trigger it for only a small number of accounts per day, and reports from members with a history of rejected reports do not trigger it. A moderator reviews every restricted account, aiming to finish within 24 hours. If the review takes longer, the account stays restricted and the case is escalated to senior staff. When the review is done, we either lift the restriction (everything comes back as it was, and we tell the member the review is complete) or take action under section 11. Decisions are recorded in our audit log. If action is taken, you can appeal under section 12.
11. Enforcement ladder
We look at the severity, intent, history and risk to others. Typical steps:
| Step | Action | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Content removal + reminder | A gig post includes a phone number; a caption is too suggestive |
| 2 | Formal warning (recorded on the account) | Repeated minor issues; mild rudeness after a decline |
| 3 | Feature limits (for example, intros, gig posting, uploads or reviews paused for 7 to 30 days) | Persistent unsolicited intros; repeated off-platform contact requests |
| 4 | Temporary suspension (7 to 30 days; both profiles) | Harassment; misleading gig posts; review manipulation |
| 5 | Permanent ban (whole account and person; re-registration blocked) | Repeat or serious violations |
Zero tolerance (immediate permanent ban, and reports to authorities where required or appropriate): any involvement of minors; offering, advertising or arranging sexual services for consideration; trafficking or exploitation; non-consensual intimate images or sextortion; credible threats of violence; fraud or payment scams; ID forgery or verifying for someone else.
During an investigation we may temporarily restrict an account (including automatically after an urgent report, as described in section 10), and may pause collab payments as set out in the Escrow & Deposit Terms.
12. Appeals
If we take action against your content or account, you will be told why (unless a legal or safety reason prevents it), and you may appeal within 30 days via the in-app appeal form or appeals@whiskrs.app. A different reviewer will look at it, and we aim to respond within 10 business days. You may ask for human review of any decision made solely by automated tools.
13. Changes
We may update these Guidelines as the community and the law evolve. We will notify you of material changes.
