3. Media standards (photos and videos)
3.1 Who may appear
Every identifiable person in an uploaded photo or video must be one of the following:
- You (the verified account holder); or
- a verified Talent member who has approved the upload in the app (tagging/approval flow); or
- an adult who has signed a written consent and release covering upload to Whiskrs, which you must keep and provide to us within 48 hours on request, together with proof of age.
Crowd or background people must not be identifiable or must have consented.
3.2 What is allowed
- Headshots, professional portraits, behind-the-scenes, set and equipment photos, short showreels, fashion, editorial and commercial work.
- Swimwear, fitness or lingerie-style imagery only if it is clearly professional, fully covers genitals, buttocks and female-presenting nipples, is non-sexual in pose and framing, and the caption is non-suggestive. Lingerie imagery is not allowed during our beta.
3.3 What is not allowed
- Nudity or partial nudity as defined above, including implied nudity (strategically covered nudity), sheer clothing, or body paint used as clothing.
- Sexual acts, simulated or real, or sexual poses, gestures or close-ups of intimate areas.
- Sexual toys or fetish gear as the focus of the image.
- Images or videos with visible contact details, watermarks advertising other services, QR codes or payment details.
- Content you did not create or do not have rights to.
- Content showing weapons used threateningly, drug use, or illegal activity.
3.4 Moderation process
- Upload: location metadata is stripped.
- Automatic scan: hash-matching against known child sexual abuse material (industry child-safety hash lists), malware scanning, and nudity/violence classifiers. The known-material check runs before any person reviews the upload. A match is withheld at once, the account is suspended, and we report as Canadian law requires (see the Terms, section 11.3).
- Pending review: media stays private to you until approved. During our beta, a person reviews every upload before it is published.
- Decision: approved (visible according to your settings), or not approved with a reason and a link to this Policy. You can appeal.
- Ongoing: approved media can be re-reviewed after a report.
3.5 Limits
Up to 6 portfolio links and up to 12 photo/video items per profile; video length up to 60 seconds; file size up to 50 MB. Limits may change.
4. Text standards
- Profiles, gig posts and reviews must be professional and SFW. No explicit language, sexual descriptions or innuendo intended to signal sexual services.
- Display names must not include contact details, slurs, sexual terms, or other people’s names or brands.
- Chat is private but not exempt: these rules apply to chat. Automated tools may flag solicitation, contact-detail sharing, payment-scam language and threats for review.
5. Technical acceptable use
You must not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest or index the Service or members’ data, or use bots, scripts or automation to create accounts, send Meows, intros or messages;
- access or attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service (see responsible disclosure below);
- bypass or interfere with verification, rate limits, blocks, plan limits, geo-restrictions or security features, including through VPNs to access the Service from unsupported countries;
- upload malware or harmful code, or overload the Service;
- copy, frame, resell or commercially exploit the Service, or reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law;
- use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages in breach of Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.
Responsible disclosure. If you find a security vulnerability, please report it to security@whiskrs.app. Do not access other members’ data. We will not pursue good-faith researchers who follow this process.
6. Intellectual property complaints
To report content that infringes your copyright or trademark, email legal@whiskrs.app with: your name and contact details; identification of the work; the location of the content on the Service (profile name, link or screenshot); a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised; a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your signature. We will review promptly, may remove the content, and will notify the member, who may respond. Repeat infringers will be banned.
7. Law-enforcement requests and preservation
We respond to valid legal process served on Whiskrs in Canada. Requests should be sent to legal@whiskrs.app. In emergencies involving imminent risk of death or serious harm, we may disclose information without a court order where the law permits. We preserve data on receipt of a valid preservation request and as required by mandatory-reporting law.
8. Enforcement
Violations are handled under the enforcement ladder in the Community Guidelines. We may remove content, limit features, suspend or ban accounts, pause collab payments under the Escrow & Deposit Terms, and report to authorities. Decisions can be appealed as described in the Terms of Service.
